My passion is expressed through the practice and teaching of yoga, through dance, chanting and singing and through community interaction.

I teach yoga at Yoga Yoga in Austin, Texas, where I was trained and certified in 2001. For the past year, I have commited my time and energy to the training of new yoga teachers in the Hatha Level 1 Teacher Training Program. It is an honor and a blessing to serve others in this way. I was able to take the quantum leap it was for me to teach yoga full time after living and working at Kripalu Yoga and Health Center in the Berkshire Mountains from 2006-2007. It was my great pleasure to serve such teachers as Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Dr. Alberto Villoldo, Doreen Virtue, Rama Berch, Ray Crist, Sudha Carolyn Lundeen, Aruni Nan Futoronsky, Krishna Das, Wah!, Steven Farmer, Toni Bergens (JourneyDance!), Russill Paul, Layne Redmond, SARK, and more. When not teaching yoga, I am usually found down the street letting loose and dancing my Spirit through and through into and out of trance at Body Choir (or wherever else holds space for creative expression). I enjoy the community involvement and the practice of nonverbal communication through body and intuitive wisdom. Since I have studied Shamanism and the practice of energy medicine and dreaming as long as I can remember, I assist others (usually one on one or in pairs–although I plan to “workshop” this soon in the area) in personal healing and initiation for seekers. I am a Munay-Ki Initiate and trained in Inkan Shamanism out of the Peruvian tradition; a tradition that is working to thrive in a world that tends to “forget.” I also honor my ancestors, Earthkeepers, Daykeepers, Wisdomkeepers, who first sparked my remembering who I am and how to honor the Earth in day to day activity and through ceremony.
